Wormrot is down to 1 full-time member – founding guitarist Nurrasyid “Rasyid” Juraimi – as longtime drummer Vijesh Ghariwala has parted methods with the band. In line with a press release from Juraimi, he and Ghariwala mutually determined to half methods. This departure comes roughly two years after founding vocalist Arif Suhaimi left the band in 2022.
“After a lot reflection and mutual respect, Vijesh and I’ve determined to half methods. We’re grateful for the journey we have shared and we look ahead to new alternatives individually,” wrote Juraimi. “I would prefer to thank Vijesh for his years of contribution, and everybody for believing in us alongside the best way. I’ll keep on to construct Wormrot from the bottom up once more.”
