Russian black steel/doom steel band Wardra have teamed up with Metalundergound.com to solely premiere their new single “Сущность пустоты (Essence Of The Void)”, taken from their impending new album “Warden Of The Stellar Crypts”, which can be co-released by Satanath Data (Georgia) and Onism Productions on April seventeenth, 2024.

“Having moved away from conventional black steel and primitive mysticism, WARDRA determined to enter the infinite darkness of house, including an environment of darkish melodicism to the music and increasing the stylistic scope of their work. The following chapter of Wardra was «Страж звёздных склепов» («Warden Of The Stellar Crypts»). This can be a story concerning the loss of life of worlds on the infinite fields of nuclear harvest and a few silent witness who will endlessly wander by the carpet of fragments of time, ready for the start of a brand new world that writhes in infinite convulsions of sleep, with out hope of awakening. Musically, the album flows from high-speed conventional black steel into the darkish melodicism of atmospheric steel with notes of melancholic doom steel, periodically flaring up with the hearth of uncooked anger. The album was recorded in 2023 (drums and percussion at Mindcrusher Labs Studio, vocals at Rofocale Rec, instrumental half at CDM Data, mixing and mastering by Sergei Lazar). Paintings by Rotten Fantom.”
