The 2010 sci-fi flick “Tron: Legacy” had a lot of cool stuff; those cool neon outlined outfits, those neon outlined bikes, those neon frisbee looking things- basically a lot of neon to make regular things look futuristic.
While I don’t know many people who loved “Tron: Legacy”, there certainly is one person who loved it so much, they were inspired to design a house completely inspired by the movie! And for a cool $3.9 million, it could be yours!
About a block west of the Greenway Parks neighborhood of Dallas, this 3 bedroom, 4 bath home comes complete with a huge living room to display a Ferrari, a Ferrari themed office, a futuristic fireplace and a backyard worthy of the year 2010, which is when “Tron: Legacy” is set in.
According to the listing:
This awe-inspiring residence delivers a sense of life in an alternate reality and an unparalleled feeling of elegance.
The living room has a perfect view of the Ferrari that complete the “Italian porcelain floors that run throughout the house”.
The house comes with an 80s style speakeasy with tufted walls- that are in the color turquoise for some reason.
If I’m being completely honest, the fireplace and the master bathroom are the only things that look like they’re out “Tron: Legacy”.
I was expecting more neon, to be honest. But I can still see the influences in the colors chosen, the décor and especially here in the kitchen, which definitely have a futuristic feel.
