‘Everytime’ – Britney Spears
While Britney Spears never directly said her emotional song “Everytime” was about Justin Timberlake, her co-writer Annet Artani did. She claimed the song was Britney’s response to Justin’s “Cry Me A River,” telling MuuMuse, “He was getting personal. Here, she had a different type of image, and he was really exposing some stuff that she probably didn’t want out there. I’m sure that really hurt her.”
