Final week, we celebrated the second birthday of my honorary niece, Georgie.
We went to her household’s home for bagels and occasional, and plenty of children ran round underfoot. The toddlers obsessed over Toby — “Mommy, he’s a TEENAGER!” — and Anton satisfied me to let him attempt a cup of milky espresso. In the meantime, Georgie wandered ghostlike via the chaos with a vaguely apprehensive expression.
That night time, after we had been all preparing for mattress, I mentioned to Anton, “I don’t suppose Georgie knew it was her birthday right now.”
To which Anton replied: “I don’t suppose Georgie knew it was *a* birthday right now.”
Haha, little children are the cutest/greatest. Earlier than going to the occasion, I had requested CoJ readers for present concepts for two-year-olds. (It’s humorous how shortly you overlook!) The #1 advice?
