Skilla Child joined forces with the Brady Middle to Forestall Gun Violence in hopes of serving to his hometown of Detroit. The Geffen Data artist teamed with the nonprofit group and metropolis officers to host a firearms buyback.
The occasion, which features a “felon-friendly” job truthful and extra, is scheduled to happen at The Icon in Detroit on Saturday (February 24).
“This Saturday I partnered with Decide Yancey And council President Sheffield to do a Gun Purchase Again / Job Truthful/ File Expungement,” Skilla Child wrote on Instagram. “THIS WILL NOT BE THE LAST ONE EITHER WE WILL TRY TO GET AS MANY GUNS OFF THE STREETS AND CLEAN AS MANY RECORDS AS POSSIBLE EVERY YEAR IF ITS UP TO ME…. The Brady Middle’s Hannah Jones praised Skilla Bay for getting concerned within the group’s efforts to cease gun violence.
