Lizzo’s next big move is to celebrate plus-sized models and full-figured women.
The multi-time Grammy Award-winner is developing a new reality series with Amazon Studios. According to Deadline, the unscripted reality series will see Lizzo search for “dynamic full-figured women to join her world and perform with her on stage.”
To further drive the point home, the singer-rapper-flutist shared a photo to Instagram on Friday (March 19) showing herself on a boat surrounded by full-figured women.
“I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!” she exclaimed. “Are you a full figured dancer or model? Have you felt underrepresented and under appreciated? THEN I’M LOOKIN FOR YOU! It’s time to find my dream team of beautifully talented big grrrls and @amazonstudios is helping ya grrrl on this journey!”
She continued, “We are casting NOW so head to BigGrrrls.com to apply. @AmazonPrimeVideo – it’s time to change the game!”
The move with Amazon isn’t the first for Lizzo in terms of small screen or big screen features. In 2019, she lent her voice to the animated feature film UglyDolls and also starred alongside Cardi B and Jennifer Lopez in the film Hustlers.
While the Houston native has been searching for full-figured women to live out their dreams on stage, BfB Da Packman decided to shoot his shot towards Lizzo and made it clear he was looking for love.
“Who [Bfb Da Packman] sent me flowers on Valentine’s Day,” Lizzo said. “And he went to the flute store to learn to play the flute for me because he was trying to serenade me — which I think is really sweet. Umm, tell him I am not looking for one man right now, but if he wants to be one of my men he can be. I need like an honest rotation.”
