Have you ever seen The Holdovers? When my dad requested to go collectively, I hesitated, for the reason that trailer appeared to offer away the entire film (many trailers do, and it’s boring!), so I used to be pleasantly shocked after we went to the theater by how wealthy and full the movie was — plenty of narrative threads! The story follows a child caught at his boarding faculty over the vacations, together with a cantankerous professor and the top prepare dinner, and I cherished and believed in all of the characters. (Right here, the director narrates a scene at a liquor store, should you’d prefer to see.)
How cute is my good friend Grace’s tree? She topped it with a snapshot of her beloved canine, Cooper. Makes me daydream about what different issues we may placed on high of a tree: A pink beanie? A household picture? Teenager socks?
For those who’re in a music temper, we’ve been taking part in this holiday-ish playlist when folks come over.
