Mase and Diddy’s beef is far from over as fans think he is dissing the Bad Boy Records founder in the lyrics of his latest track, Oracle 2.
Mase’s hip hop career is almost as interesting as his personality. The star retired from music in 1999 to famously become a pastor. He also became an ordained minister at the Clark Atlanta University.
However, he returned to music in 2004 following a five-year hiatus. The star’s latest release, Oracle 2: The Legend of Mason Betha, is now out as he tries to balance his religious as well as music careers simultaneously.

Fans think Mase is dissing Diddy in Oracle 2
Oracle 2, released on March 14, 2022, sees Mase rapping some scathing lyrics such as: “Yeah, I’m just a Harlem n***a reppin’ down a Vegas strip with my own Suge/You from Mt. Vernon, n***a, go & rep your own hood.”
“I’m not hating on your Billi worth/Right now, I’m only saying what you really work/You ain’t no architect/You just a n***a who know how to market death,” Mase further sings.
The rapper’s long time fans may remember that Mase had previously released a Cam’ron diss track, The Oracle in 2017.
After listening to Oracle 2, many fans think that Mase is calling out Diddy for repping New York despite being from the Westchester County suburb of Mt. Vernon.

What is Mase and Diddy’s beef all about
Back in 2020, Mase blasted Diddy after the latter’s speech at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala.
The Bad Boy Records CEO’s speech saw him calling out the Recording Academy for not taking music from African-American artists seriously.
However, following his speech, Mase, a former Bad Boy artist himself, had some thoughts on the subject.
He took to Instagram to blast Diddy for being “extremely unfair.”
“Your past business practices knowingly has continued purposely starved your artist and been extremely unfair to the very same artist that helped u obtain that Icon Award on the iconic Badboy label,” the star reportedly wrote.
The 46-year-old artist did not shy away from hashing out all the details either. “For example, u still got my publishing from 24 years ago in which u gave me $20k. Which makes me never want to work w/ u as any artist wouldn’t,” he said.
He also claimed that he offered Diddy $2 million for his masters. “You bought it for about 20k & I offered you $2m in cash. This is not black excellence at all,” the rapper wrote.
Twitter reacts to Mase’s new track
Many fans are convinced that Mase’s new song is aimed at Diddy while others have urged him to drop the track without autotune.
