The music in a film or TV series can often make or break the final product as the songs or score used can add just the right feeling to each scene.
That is something that new Hulu and Prime Video thriller, Deep Water, understands as it blends a chilling score with some toe-tapping licensed tunes.

Deep Water splashed its way onto Hulu in the US and Amazon Prime Video internationally on Friday, March 18th, 2022.
Based on the celebrated novel by Patricia Highsmith, Deep Water is set in the fictional Louisiana town of Little Wesley and tells the story of Vic and Melinda.
The pair are meandering through a loveless marriage which is only being held together by the agreement that Melinda can take on as many lovers as she pleases.
However, dark secrets lurk between the pair and their relationship takes on a whole new dynamic as a series of mysterious deaths rock the local community.

Who composed the score?
As well as a host of licensed songs, Deep Water also features a chilling cinematic score to ramp up the tension in certain moments.
That score is the work of American composer Marco Beltrami who is renowned for creating music for chilling horrors and gripping thrillers.
Aside from Deep Water, fans will know Marco’s work best from the recent films Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Netflix’s Fear Street Trilogy, A Quiet Place and its sequel, as well as Le Mans ’66 (aka Ford vs Ferrari), Logan and Hellboy.
An album for Deep Water’s score is not yet available but fans can listen to a collection of Marco’s work on music streaming services such as Spotify.
Deep Water is available to stream on Hulu in the US and Amazon Prime Video internationally after releasing on March 18th, 2022.
