Following on from his critically acclaimed six-night sold-out run at London’s Royal Albert Corridor, David Gilmour has shared a brand new remix of Between Two Factors, from Gus Unger-Hamilton, keyboard participant with progressively minded pop trio Alt-J.
The music is a canopy of a music initially by British dream pop duo The Montgolfier Brothers and options on Gilmours current No. 1 album Luck And Unusual, on which Gilmour’s daughter Romany takes lead vocals.
Leeds band Alt-J are the band mostly related to Luck And Unusual producer Charlie Andrew who has obtained a lot popularity of his work with Gilmour, the guitarist telling Prog, “He has an exquisite lack of know-how of, and respect for my previous. And he’s very direct and he says what I believe and he’s not in any method overawed and I cherished that. That is simply so good for me, as a result of the very last thing you need is folks simply deferring every part again to you.”
Gilmour will now carry out dates in Los Angeles, and New York along with his stay band that includes Man Pratt on bass, Greg Phillinganes and Rob Gentry on keyboards, Adam Betts on drums, Ben Worsley on guitar, Louise Marshall on piano and vocals, and the Webb Sisters; Hattie Webb on harp and vocals, Charley Webb on guitar, ukelele and vocals in addition to Romany Gilmour on vocals and harp at chosen reveals.
