A town centre pub is to be the site of a rap and DJ night this weekend.
The York on Newport Street in the town centre will be holding the gig tomorrow evening (Saturday) from 6pm.
Bolton author and rapper, Robert Stevenson, organised the night to showcase talented rappers and DJs from across the region, after the success of previous nights.

The night is named From the Streets to the Stage, after a book Robert released in January this year, which recently sold its 200th copy.
12 rappers and two DJs will be performing at the night.
Robert said: “What started with just Bolton has now caught the attention of reputable, established artists.”
He thanked the staff at The York for holding the night, and Martin Hardy (Illusive Exposure) for helping him plan it.
