Finnish steel act Amorphis introduced some amorphous plans to report a brand new album following their upcoming fall tour, following up their 2022 album Halo. In a current interview with The Chill Dude On a Sofa, the band’s guitarist, Tomi Koivusaari, talked in regards to the plans, saying (as transcribed by Blabbermouth):
“We’re going to the studio straight after the U.S. tour [in the fall of 2024]. And we’ll be recording [for] a couple of months. And so the brand new album will likely be out, like, [in] ’25.”
However apparently the band doesn’t have a consensus on the route the brand new album will take, largely as a result of the band simply doesn’t work that approach. Right here’s how Koivusaari defined the band’s course of:
“I feel all people has simply made some songs, however we haven’t shared it but with the opposite guys. So I haven’t heard what different guys are doing. I simply heard what I’ve been doing. I [don’t know what will] find yourself find yourself [on] the album. However we’ll see. We can have a brand new producer. We’ve carried out the three final albums with Jens Bogren, and now now we have a brand new route in a approach.”
