This year’s Brit Awards will be taking place on 11 May, a little later in the year than usual due to Covid-19. With the nominations due to be announced tomorrow (31 March) the organisers have confirmed their key digital partners for this year. They’re familiar faces: Amazon Music is the official digital music partner for the second year in a row, and TikTok is also back for a second year as social partner.
Amazon Music will sponsor the male and female solo artist categories, and will host an official Brits playlist and stream live performances from the awards itself.
TikTok will be attached to the breakthrough artist award, with profiles of the nominees sitting within its app, and a calendar of livestreams, hashtag challenges and takeovers in the weeks ahead.
Meanwhile, headline partner Mastercard is also returning, and this year will brand an eight-episode Brits podcast, to be distributed via Amazon Music.
